About Anna’s Arms
At Anna’s Arms, we hold space for mothers whose arms ache for the babies they cannot hold. Our mission is to wrap grieving mothers in warmth, remembrance, and gentle care—because no one should have to walk this path alone.
Anna’s Arms was founded in honor of my daughter, Anna Charlotte, who was born still at 37 weeks and 6 days with no known cause. In the days that followed, I found myself searching for something—anything—that could help me feel close to her, and for someone who truly understood what I was going through. From that longing, and from the love I will always carry for her, this organization was born.
We offer two types of free comfort boxes, created with care by mothers who have walked this same road:
Hospital Boxes — Thoughtfully curated to help families make the most of their precious time with their baby. Inside you’ll find keepsake items like a hair cutting and saving kit, a book to read aloud, and a hand and footprint kit—small ways to make lasting memories in the moments you have together.
Home Boxes — Sent to you in the quiet days that follow, these boxes include gentle self-care items, resources, and words of comfort to help you navigate life after loss.
Because signing up for something like this can feel impossible, anyone—family, friends, nurses, or loved ones—can request a box on behalf of a mother in need. Every box is completely free and sent with love and remembrance.
Along with each box, we invite mothers to connect with a community of other loss moms—women who have walked this same heartbreaking path and understand its depth in ways words can’t express. When my daughter died, what I longed for most was to talk to another mother who had been where I was. Now, through Anna’s Arms, that circle of compassion continues to grow.
We know we cannot take away your pain, or make it better. But we promise—you are not alone. We see you. We honor your baby with you. And we will keep gently reminding you that your love, and your child’s memory, will never be forgotten.
In loving memory of Anna Charlotte, and all babies gone too soon.
